Support team

Gregg Gregg Dunnett has provided advice, ideas and practical help at all stages of this project. Once the challenge is underway Gregg and I will maintain daily contact to discuss strategy, and information for press and website will channel through him.
John John Clarke is a round the world and round the UK yachtsman, and we've spent many hours talking about this challenge. John has made sure I am aware what I am taking on. He has also helped with the design of the barrel carrier, and taken many of the website pictures.
Emile Emile Kott has kindly agreed to keep an eye on the tech side of the website whilst I'm on the Round Britain route, fitting this in around his responsibilities at Acroweb.

Additional mentions

These mentions are left here for posterity! In the end there was no van team as I voyaged self-supported, and the Port of London Authority wouldn't sanction a start on the Thames so I set off from Clacton. There is a lot to be said for the Keep It Simple Stupid (KISS) approach.

The Van Team

Kind offers for taking the van around the remoter parts have come from my Dad, Solenne Clingan, John Clarke are duly noted. We'll be in touch with a schedule once we know one!

The Start Team

Phil Holman of Docklands Sailing and Watersports Centre whose knowledge and offer of practical assistance has helped us to set up a Tower Bridge start.
