Loch Ewe to Durness via Cape Wrath - pictures

Slow progress to Loch Ewe from Badachro (Gairloch) - here's why. Unfortunately I got reported to the coastguard whilst sat here...
I eventually ended up at Cove. I set up camp here but a roof was offered, and gratefully accepted.
Bad weather was forecast so I missed a day's sailing and helped out on the slipway extension.
Nice evening for fishing. Mackeral for tea.
Bad weather eventually came
The sail out of Cove and through the Summer Isles was wet and windy. I found a sheltered spot for lunch though (island off Atlandhu).
It was mostly like this. Picture of Stoer Head
I ended up at Scourie. This morning was wet but the bird hide was ideal for breakfast
Stack at south of Sandwood Bay
Sandwood Bay. The sun obliged for just long enough to get a few pictures.
The approach to Cape Wrath was very easy.
Conditions got more difficult round the corner. No pictures though - needed both hands for sailing and a strong west going current meant I wasn't keen to stop.
And here's picture from the Sound of Sleat (behind Skye) a few days earlier. Including it here because it seems a shame not to share it.

I've been fairly off grid these last few days, but have a few pictures that show how they've gone. Explanatory captions are included but only show if you click on an image.
